As a member of Sanderstead LTC the tennis playing opportunities range from help for beginners and improving players up to Surrey League team participation.
We work with a group of coaches - MDL Coaching - who provide coaching for our Juniors as well as running both evening and weekday sessions for adult members.

For players who want social tennis the courts are generally available for members to arrange their own games. We have two Club sessions - Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon - where members can turn up and mix in.

For players wanting competitive play we have a number of Club tournaments throughout the year with the Summer events being the main ones. We have three Mens teams, three Ladies teams, one mixed team and one Veterans over-55 team in the Surrey Leagues.
Our active Table Tennis section meets mainly during the winter. We now run three teams, two in the Croydon & District League and one in the Redhill & Reigate League. We also have the services of a Table Tennis coach who visits the Club during the week and at weekends.
Our whist section meets on Monday nights for their club evening. Although more social in nature it is, nevertheless, an enjoyable albeit competitive session.

Social membership is much more than access to our premises and bar, our active Social Committee members are always coming up with ideas for activities to bring all club members together for functions ranging from ad-hoc food after Club tennis sessions, themed dinners, Birthday and other Parties to our New Year's Eve Party.
We have a Charity Day once a year to raise money - this year's Charity was for the Macmillan Cancer Appeal. The Parent & Child fun tennis tournament is also run on Charity Day which keeps the enjoyment aspect as well as the serious aim of raising money for good causes.
