Sanderstead Lawn Tennis & Social Club achieved CLUBMARK status this Summer, establishing our reputation as a quality Tennis Club.

When the LTA introduced CLUBMARK the idea was to establish benchmark criteria by which existing and prospective members could assess Tennis Clubs. CLUBMARK status recognises excellence over a wide range of attributes; it acknowledges a proven management regime including financial, organisational and operation excellent. But CLUBMARK goes further, it covers Health & Safety controls as well as Child Protection Policies and Safeguards. Our coaching partners, MDL, are an important part of as well, as Junior and Senior coaching programmes and opportunities are assessed as well.

All-in-all, we are pleased and proud to receive CLUBMARK status, partly to demonstrate to all that we are a quality Tennis Club recognised as such by the LTA, and partly to demonstrate the professionalism of your dedicated volunteer Club Officials who are working hard for the continuing well-being of your Tennis Club.
